Twitter is the best BitTorrent's index and directory

  1. Come in Twitter.
  2. Type a name your favorite band, album or film and word btih for search.
     For example, Steal This Film btih.
  3. Get result in the top or live tab (switch, if necessary).
  4. Find a tweet with a long number, select and copy it with right-click.
     For example,
      2d71be0c1bcc93373e926f02aaa4ab484979a542
      0ff9cd4f43f5df2a30c694c87e63978af26ee9d4
  5. Insert this number in your favorite torrent-client.
     N. B. : Some clients require the prefix magnet:?xt=urn:btih:
     For example,

      magnet:?xt=urn:btih:0ff9cd4f43f5df2a30c694c87e63978af26ee9d4
  6. Download and enjoy.
  7. If search result is empty:
    • For usual people: Leave detailed request with hashtages #btihrequest and #btihsearch (example).
    • For hackers: Create a new release or find information in other BitTorrent-directory/index (The Pirate Bay, KickassTorrents, etc.) and publish magnet-link with tweet.
  8. Repeat from the beginning whenever you want.


  9. Watch new popular release on hashtag #btih (top/live) or search results by the word btih (top/ live).
  10. Download, add in favorites, retweet and comment.
  11. Respond to request by hashtag #btihrequest and #btihsearch.
  12. Tell your friends about this feature.
